Red Dot Frenzy-X 1x22x26 MOS Ref: SCRD-36 VECTOR OPTICS

The Frenzy-X 1×22×26 MOS is a fabulous low profile red dot sight designed for use on pistols, competition rifles and optical systems where rapid target acquisition is required. Its designation “1×22×26” indicates that it has no magnification (“1×”), and that the optical window has dimensions of 22 mm × 26 mm. The suffix “MOS” refers to its MOS/MOJ compatible footprint (similar to what many know as the RMR footprint) and the inclusion of a motion sensor that manages automatic shutdown to save power.

Ideal applications

• Optical“ calibre pistols”: thanks to its low profile and footprint compatibility, it is a suitable choice for competition, defence or carry pistols that support RMR optics.

• Short rifles / carbines: although its window is smaller than some wide-eyepiece style sights, it can be used on lightweight rifles where lower weight and reduced profile are valued.

• Dynamic shooting / IPSC / IDPA: its speed of acquisition and rugged construction make it suitable for dynamic sport shooting disciplines.

• Tactical / outdoor use: water resistance, recoil resistance and parallax-free image (according to the manufacturer) make it suitable for demanding environments.

Advanced features:

• Window size: 22 × 26 mm (approximately 0.85″ × 1.0″) which provides a generous field of view for a red-dot of this size.

• Dot size: 3 MOA (Minutes of Angle). This dimension is a good combination of speed of acquisition and accuracy for short-medium distances.

• Lighting: has 8 levels of daytime brightness y 2 levels compatible with night vision (NV).

• Body profile: extremely low profile, with only 7 mm (approx. 0.3″) height, which makes it easy to mount on pistols without obstructing the line of sights.

• Net weight (without mounting base): 30 g (≈1,0 oz). Very low weight, which contributes to not adding additional load to the weapon.

• Body material: constructed of 6061-T6 aluminium alloy, durable matte black finish.

• Assembly/footprint: compatible with 21mm Weaver rail and MOJ footprint (and hence many RMR plates) making it easy to integrate into dot-cut ready optic weapons.

• Resilience: IPX6 waterproof (withstands heavy rain, adverse conditions). In addition, it withstands recoil from 9mm, .45 ACP, 12 GA shotgun, .338 Lapua Magnum rifle according to manufacturer's specifications.

• Windage and elevation settings: 45 MOA range for both elevation and drift.

• Battery: uses a CR2032 lithium battery, with a declared autonomy of more than 50,000 hours to the minimum visible brightness, when used in low mode.

• Motion sensor operation: the unit automatically shuts down after ≈2 minutes without movement, and upon detecting activity it reactivates, helping to preserve the battery when the weapon is on guard.
